PETG 3D printing
PETG is our recommended material for functional parts and spare parts: more resistant to impact and heat than PLA (≈ 75 °C), slightly flexible and fine for humidity and moderate outdoor use.
What it is good for
- Spare parts and mechanical parts
- Enclosures
- Parts in contact with water
- Jigs and fixtures
When not to use it
- Very fine details
- Temperatures above 70 °C
PETG vs PLA: Compared with PLA: tougher and more heat-resistant, with a slightly less crisp finish. See PLA →
